Privacy Policy
Bardelas ("we", "Bardelas") is a digital agency that builds websites, AI assistants and automations for businesses. This document explains what information we collect — on the site and through our WhatsApp services — how it is used and what your rights are. Using the site and services constitutes consent to this policy.
What information is collected
- Information you provide on the site: When you fill in a contact form — name, business name, email, phone and the message content.
- Information from WhatsApp conversations: When you message our WhatsApp assistant (or a business we operate a bot for) — your phone number, profile name, message content and any files you send. These details may be stored as a "lead" in our CRM to respond and follow up.
- Technical information: Anonymous usage data (such as Google Analytics) — pages viewed, browser and device type — to improve the site.
How we use the information
- To get back to you and respond to your inquiry.
- To operate the WhatsApp assistant — answer questions, coordinate and save the inquiry details.
- To provide, maintain and improve the services and the site.
- We do not sell your information and do not use it for bulk or unsolicited marketing.
AI assistants and automated processing
The WhatsApp assistant is powered by AI models. Message content may be processed automatically by AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate replies and extract the inquiry details. We do not make automated decisions with legal effect, and you may always ask for a human response.
WhatsApp and the Meta platform
Our WhatsApp services run on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Messages sent over WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy policy. We do not send bulk or unsolicited marketing messages through the bot — it is intended to respond to inquiries you initiate.
Sharing and sub-processors
We do not sell information. We rely on service providers ("sub-processors") that process data solely to provide the service, and subject to the law:
- Meta / WhatsApp — messaging infrastructure.
- Google — data storage and CRM (Sheets/Drive) and email.
- OpenAI — AI processing to generate replies.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- n8n — running the automations.
Processing on behalf of business clients
When Bardelas operates a WhatsApp assistant for a business client, that business is the "controller" of its customers' data, and Bardelas acts only as a "processor" on its behalf, under the service agreement. End-customer requests about their data will be directed to the relevant business.
Data retention
We keep the information for as long as it is needed to provide the service and respond to your inquiry, after which we delete it or upon your request.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security when transmitting data over the network.
Cookies
The site may use cookies and analytics tools for functionality and to improve the experience. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may request to review the information collected about you, to correct it or delete it. To get in touch about this: hello@bardelas.net.
